Felonk Analytics ("we", "our", or "us") is a social media analytics platform operated by Felonk Media. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information: Name and email address used to create your Felonk Analytics account.
Social media data: With your explicit authorisation, we access data from connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts you manage, including posts, engagement metrics, reach, impressions, and comments.
Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and performance monitoring only.

2. How We Use Your Information

To display analytics dashboards and reports for social media accounts you have connected.
To perform sentiment analysis on public comments from your managed Pages and accounts.
To generate performance reports for internal agency use.
We do not sell, share, or monetise your data or your clients' data.
We do not monitor competitor accounts or any accounts you do not explicitly connect.

3. Meta Platform Data

When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, we request the following permissions via the Meta Graph API:

pages_show_list – to list the Pages you manage
pages_read_engagement – to read post engagement metrics
read_insights – to read reach and impressions data
instagram_basic – to access your Instagram Business account profile
instagram_manage_insights – to read Instagram post insights
instagram_manage_comments – to read comments for sentiment analysis

Data obtained via the Meta Platform is used solely for analytics within Felonk Analytics and is not shared with third parties. We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

4. Data Retention

Social media metrics and post data are retained for up to 24 months to support trend analysis and reporting. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Security

All access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption before being stored in our database. Access to the platform requires authentication. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

Disconnect any connected social account from the Accounts page.
Request deletion of all data associated with your account.
Revoke our app's access directly from your Facebook App Settings.
